Announced with great fanfare as the "salvation for the sector", discounts and interest-free installments will only last for 21 days ...
From the 11th to the 31st of July the new conditions of the Plans Now 12 and Now 18 will be in force, signed by the Chamber of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (C.A.F.A.M.) and the Ministry of Production and Labor of the Nation.
Which include 12 or 18 installments without interest in the purchase of motorcycles 0km, of national production and up to $ 120,000 or for those who have the gutter and are encouraged to pay cash or with another type of financing (the latter will depend on each brand and dealer and only with a bank card) will receive a 10% discount on the list price and only on models up to $ 300,000.
The brands and models that enter this winter promo are the Japanese Honda, with its moped that heads the sales lists since January 2019 the Wave 110S, the Titan CG150, the XR150, the classic Tornado, the CB190R and the indefatigable Twister. The house of the tuning forks is added with the Yamaha FZ-F1, FZ-SF1 and the SZ-RR.

The brands belonging to the La Emilia group also benefit from this benefit, with all the Motomel and Keway models, while Benelli only participates the TNT15 and TNT135 for the interest-free installments and the TNT25, TNT300, 302r and the Zafferano for the 10% discount. And from its SYM brand with Ahora 12 and Ahora 18, the Fiddle II, Crox and Symphony will be available, while with the 10% discount, Joy Ride and Citycom will be added to the previous three. On the other hand, RVM joins the F4 250, the Daytona 350, the 350-9 and the Tekken 250. Complete the list Corven, Bajaj, Kymco, Mondial, Betamotor, Okinoi, Guerrero, Suzuki, KTM, Brava, Zanella, Gilera , Hero and Jianshe.
Regarding this agreement, the president of C.A.F.A.M. Lino Stefanuto explained the following: "These new measures are the result of a strong commitment that we assume together with the national government to encourage the industry and generate a positive impact on the national market." Obviously in his statement denotes his willingness to alleviate the low sales and the terrible situation in which the sector is, and we really recognize that these measures aim to boost the activity of this industry and represent a benefit not only for the consumer, but also for the motor vehicle sector, but in a country where poverty and indigence have been rising exponentially for four years, it is very difficult to join the celebration and not be skeptical when thinking that these small modifications to the Plan Now 12 and 18 will allow us to resume the momentum of motorcycle sales.
