With the participation of more than 1,000 carefully selected classic and historic international vehicles -all of which are more than 30 years old, in original condition and perfectly functioning-, Autoclásica is an unparalleled opportunity to revive the history of the automotive industry and celebrate the preservation of their heritage.
In 2018, Autoclásica was declared of Tourist Interest by the Secretariat of Tourism of the Nation, as well as of Municipal Interest by the Municipality of San Isidro. In addition, the recognition of the German Embassy in our country was obtained.
This true family party, organized by the Classic Automobile Club of the Argentine Republic and in which children under 12 years old free together with a larger one, proposes a journey that evokes the passage of time through the vehicles -autos , motorcycles, utilities, collectives, agricultural machinery, military vehicles and boats- that starred in our history.
In its eighteenth edition, Autoclásica renews its proposal to share with the public vehicles never before seen that will leave fans breathless. As every year, Autoclásica presents outstanding exhibitions that allow to know in depth special themes. Among the 600 cars of different brands that can be seen, in this edition highlights the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Porsche sports car. The German brand celebrates its seven decades of legacy, with more than 30 vehicles on display, which provide a vision of the past and its present. The story goes that with the construction number 356 and chassis number 356-001, the year 1948 marks the birth of the Porsche brand in the Austrian city of Gmünd: the Porsche 356 "No. 1" Roadster. At the same time, Autoclásica commemorates Land Rover's 70 years of history, the English brand celebrates the anniversary of the presentation of the first of the Land Rover Defender Series I, which debuted at the Amsterdam Motor Show on April 30, 1948. This model, created by the brothers Spencer and Maurice Wilks, executives of the brand of the United Kingdom, combined the chassis of a Jeep Willys of the Second World War, a body Rover, a naphtero engine and a manual gearbox with rear axle. In just a few square meters, you can see and compare a Land Rover Series I Station Wagon of 1957, Land Rover Santana Pick Up of 1988 and many more.

On the other hand, with the institutional support of the German Embassy, a special tribute to the legendary Mercedes Benz 300 SL takes place. The exhibition of 10 vehicles of this model in its different versions is the recognition of one of the classic sports vehicles par excellence, including the famous version Gullwing ("Wings of seagull").
And the irresistible proposal of Autoclásica 2018 is complemented by a Special Tent "World Legends". In this outstanding space, a selective call for the best car exponents is exhibited.

Tomorrow, Saturday, October 13, Autoclásica 2018 dresses up as a party to receive the XII International Meeting of MINIS Clubs. A caravan of more than 80 specimens from the MINI Clubs of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay will visit the exhibition, and will have a specially designated place near the stand of MINI Clubs, which will be a unique experience for attendees to the expo.
The Motorcycle District has the stellar presence of Harley-Davidson®, the iconic American motorcycle brand in the year of its 115th anniversary of history, which features classic motorcycles and latest models that were launched on the market, the new Freewheeler®, one of the 3-wheeled motorcycles of the "Trike" family, and the Ultra Limited motorcycle 115th Anniversary edition, allowing us to contemplate the evolution of this centennial brand. Among the classics there is Harley-Davidson® 45 TWIN 1947, original 2-cylinder and 745cc, with original accessories purchased and installed on the day of purchase; and a Harley-Davidson® J. Board Track 1920 of 2 cylinders and 1000 cc. In addition, the Royal Enfield, Norton and Morgan brands with their most outstanding models present all the news in the sample.
In the exhibition you can see the motorcycles that forged the story; from the small mopeds to the large motorized ones, they animate this two-wheeler festival, which is the most important in South America. This year, unique specimens of such prestigious brands as AJS, BMW, HRD, Douglas, Gilera, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Zanella, Puma, Siambretta, Triumph, among others are present. The most veteran motorcycle of the show will be a Peugeot V Twin 1906 of 350cc .. For its part, the live bands shows, club stands and new spaces of gastronomy are always protagonists of the Motorcycle District, which generate a unique climate and festive to live in first person the lifestyle of the fans of the two wheels.
The youngest also have their space in Autoclásica 2018, since the "Grand Prix Junior" is again present: this proposal consists of a series of fun races on board of small classic pedal cars that are played by children between 4 and 6 years old.

The Classic Automobile Club (CAC) is an Argentine institution dedicated to the rescue of classic and historic automobiles.
