Since 2012, every last Sunday in September, The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride has been held without interruption, an event in which motorcyclists from around the world have to help raise funds and raise awareness about prostate cancer and men's mental health .

Due to pandemic reasons, this year was very different from the previous 8 years, since each motorcycle rider had to route individually or even virtually through social networks. For this reason the organizers have decided to advance the date for next year and do so on May 23. That in addition to establishing itself as the month of the DGR will commemorate its tenth route.

 

Unfortunately, the change of the month for those of us who live on this side of the planet is a mess to go out on the roads. May, the middle of Buenos Aires autumn, usually comes with large amounts of rain and cold that soaks your bones. I understand that May is ideal for the Northern Hemisphere, as September was for us, but here with the bad weather it will be very difficult to maintain the elegance that the event deserves.

It will be up to each of us to decide whether to play along with their rules or organize ourselves and find our way to help raise awareness and funds for the fight against prostate cancer.
