Now that the holidays have arrived, everyone fills their mouths talking about wearing a helmet, but the reality is that you have to wear it all year. And since we are going to use it, let's use one that in addition to protecting the sesera also enhances our pint.
For this, Hawk, one of the best brands of Argentine helmets, has launched two new designs of its classic 721: Kamikaze and Route 66.
The first has an impressive design inspired by the aesthetics of Japanese aircraft that were used by the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. To which the Americans mistakenly nicknamed Kamikaze.
This limited edition helmet features the flag of the Rising Sun, which was the naval insignia of Japan, which many pilots carried on that last trip.
In its center it has an incredible illustration of the skull of a warrior pilot, accompanied on its right flank by the kanjis (Japanese writing) of Kamikaze and on its left flank by the word Kamikaze in Spanish with a typography that emulates the Ponja writing.

Ruta 66 - la madre de todas las rutas

On the other corner, as if challenging the Japanese Navy, is 721 Route 66. With a well-deserved tribute to the mother of all routes. You will find this helmet in two versions, the blue one, which recalls that beautiful sky that accompanies the 3,940km that form it, with a matte finish. The other version is white, although rather it is a creampie, with a bright finish. Both share on their sides the unmistakable logo of the route we all want to go, with the legend of "The Mother Road" that surrounds it, along with the last of the cities that make up its route: Los Angeles California.
The Mercomax S. A. company from sanisidrense has been selling products related to the world of motorcycles through its different brands for more than 26 years. Today it has a presence throughout the country and in Uruguay and is always trying to overcome itself, as evidenced by these two high-quality helmets approved with CHAS (Certificate of Approval of Auto Parts and Safety Elements) and IRAM standards.
The 721 is a helmet that combines the design of a classic model reminiscent of the 60s and 70s with quality and avant-garde details that make it an excellent alternative within open helmets. A helmet injected in ABS, with built-in sunvisor, combined interior in double front, belour and chopped horn of excellent quality, all fabrics bonded in 6mm foam, which give the helmet an excellent fit. This model also offers a line of accessories, bubbles in different shades and a mechanism that allows the opening and closing of said bubble.
