On the occasion of the Day of the Argentine Sports Motorcyclist to be celebrated on October 15, in the tent of the A.A.M.A.C. On Monday 14 at 3:30 p.m. there will be a special tribute to great and outstanding pilots of our country. The reason for this date is for the first Argentine victory in the World Championship and coincidentally at the Autodrome of Buenos Aires on October 15, 1961. It was in the “Continental Circus” and it happened in the 500cc category (now MotoGP) in which Jorge Kissling was the winner on board a Matchless G50 that carried the number 2. That triumph of the boy from Olivos, province of Buenos Aires, as a debutante on the world stage, was the opening to raids in Europe and the United States, extending thus his trajectory beyond the national and South American.

The Barrio de las Motos has the stellar presence of prestigious brands such as Harley-Davidson, BMW Motorrad, Royal Enfield, Vespa, Piaggio, Moto Guzzi, and Aprilia; among others, that present their most outstanding models and all the news in the brands.

In the sample you can see the motorcycles that forged the story; from the small mopeds to the ones of big motorizations they animate this celebration of the two wheels that is the most important of South America. The most veteran motorcycle in the show will be a Belgian motorcycle FN of 1908 restored with four-cylinder engine with longitudinal crankshaft and rigid axle transmission, it is the first four-cylinder motorcycle in history. For their part, live band shows, club stands and new gastronomy spaces are always protagonists of the Barrio de las Motos, which generate a unique and festive atmosphere to live in first person the lifestyle of the two fans wheels.

The "Motojumble" and "Autojumble", the now classic AutoClásica space, welcomes fans with the most complete assortment of spare parts, parts, old accessories of all kinds, memorabilia and models to finish restoring vehicles or completing the collections.

During the days of the sample, the value of the ticket office is $ 500. Children under 12 enter free accompanied by a senior. As every year, since 2004, Autoclásico will allocate the collection of the parking lot –which has a daily value of $ 300- to the acquisition of medical equipment for the Hospital de Materno Infantil de San IsidroDr. Carlos Arturo Gianantonio”.
