Among the nearly 400 bikes, the winner of the "Best of Show Autoclásica 2018" was an MV Agusta 500 FOUR 1957, 4-cylinder, world champion piloted at the time by the British driver of motoring -F1- and motorcycling John Surtees, and restored by himself in the '90s. In turn, the MV Agusta also won the first place in the category of sports bikes.

On the other hand, in the National Production category, the first prize was for a Gilera 200 Extra 1966 of 200 cc, produced in the plant

model by Carlos Spegazzini; while the second place was taken by a PUMA 98 1960 Second Series of 98 cc. In turn, a Harley-Davidson® 45 TWIN 1947, original 2-cylinder and 745cc, with original accessories purchased and installed on the day of purchase, won the first place in the post-war-American category, and the second place was for an Indian 500, motorcycle originally sold for military use.

A Ferrari model 340/375 MM, from the year 1953 was distinguished by the jury with the biggest prize of the show: "Best of Show Autoclásica 2018". This car has a 4.500cc engine, V 12, designed by Aurelio Lampredi and body of Pinin Farina. This Ferrari is one of the only three manufactured. It was finished at the beginning of June 1953 and sent directly to France for the 24 hours of Le Mans, where it finished in 5th place with the Ferrari being the best classified. In July of that same year he participated in the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps, under the command of Nino Farina and Mike Hawthorn, winning the general classification. He also ran the Pan American Race in Mexico, achieving the 4th place in the general classification. In 2004 he won his category in the Pebble Beach elegance contest.

The winner formed a final triple with a Packard Dow Cowl Model 645 Sport Phaeton and a Vauxhall 30/98 Sport Tourer. With the participation of more than 1000 classic and historical vehicles, the eighteenth edition of Autoclásica is presented at the Hipódromo de San Isidro.

The winner of the coveted Best of Show 2018 award was distinguished by the jury as "the best of the show" by virtue of possessing a singular beauty and harmony of lines, which captivate whoever sees it, is like a love at first sight; expose an optimal state of preservation or restoration; be the representative of a brand with a strong presence in the history of the automobile; how to also evaluate an important personal story; and show a sufficient antiquity to make it a true classic through the ages.

For its part, a De Tomaso Pantera 1979 of Italian origin was the winner of the "Germán Sopeña Award" as "Best Contemporary Sports Car" of the show, for

election and voting of the journalists who visited Autoclásica 2018, as a way of honoring the remembered journalist and lover of sports classics.

Among the stands, the winners in this edition of Autoclásica were: Best Car Club Stand Award: CAS - Club Automobiles Sports; Best Stand of Autojumble Award: Retro Posters; and Best Commercial Stand Award: KUNSTMANN.

The "Best of Show", of cars and motorcycles, were chosen by the jury among the vehicles that won the first prize in each of the FIVA categories (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens). This true family party, organized by the Classic Automobile Club of the Argentine Republic, is being carried out with great success and also proposes a route that evokes the passage of time through vehicles -autos, utilitarios, agricultural machinery, vehicles military- who starred in our history, putting the focus every year on special exhibitions.

Autoclásica 2018 is being carried out with great success and under a spectacular climate, and until tomorrow, Monday October 15th - given - it will be open from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., so that all classic lovers can identify; and enjoy the award-winning cars and motorcycles during this Sunday, at the San Isidro Hippodrome.

Today Monday, the last day of the show, Autoclásica continues to present outstanding exhibitions that renew the proposal and allow to know in depth special themes.
