Sales are still down and without brake!

Continuing with the trend, which coincidentally coincides with the change of government, the number of motorcycles patented in the past month of April was 30,454, that is, 5% less than in the month of March, representing a year-on-year fall of 52%.
In this first four-month period some 139,352 motorcycles are patented, which, compared to the same months of 2018, would be 48% less.
Of these 30,454 patented motorcycles, most are low displacement. The leaders of this ranking are the 110cc with 13,553 units, the best-selling model, for the third time in a row, the Honda Wave 110 S with 2,503 mopeds. Those that continue in sales are those of 150cc with 5,741 units, being another winged model that is at the top, the Honda Titan CG150 with 746 motorcycles.
These data provided by the Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Chamber (C.A.F.A.M.) also reveals that 27,783 units sold this month, or 91%, are of national origin.
So far this year Honda remains immovable in the first place with 6,140 motorcycles, followed firmly by Motomel with 4,371 units, just one step down with 3,784 motorcycles is again Corven and also repeats its fourth place Zanella Argentina with 3,409 patented machines.

Honda Argentina, continues at the top of sales!
This continuous collapse in sales of motorcycles is due, in large part, to the fact that not only motorcycle sales have fallen, sales have fallen in all areas. The indiscriminate opening of imports and the dollarization of services and the terrible devaluation, have originated in those who want to buy their first motorcycle or change for a larger displacement, the obligation to think several times.
Satisfying with the small percentages of national parts that are added to imported motorcycles seems to be a sad consolation that is not even close to achieving what many dream, a motorcycle entirely national production.
