Anniversaries of brands and industry emblems such as Citröen, Bentley, the Italian design house Zagato and the iconic Chevy will be celebrated this year. Within the bikes, the 50th anniversary of the debut of the Honda CB750 Four will be celebrated. In addition, this year, "Classic Market" where classic vehicles will be on sale.

Between Friday 11 to Monday 14 (holiday) of October, the nineteenth edition of Autoclásica will be held, the largest festival of classic cars and motorcycles in South America organized by the Club of Classic Cars of the Argentine Republic (CAC), to be held in the traditional boulevard of the San Isidro Racecourse. This true party offers a unique opportunity to relive history through its protagonists: a selection of more than one thousand carefully selected classic and historical vehicles of international category, this new edition of Autoclásica is that time of year where time stops for four days to relive the history of the automotive industry and celebrate the preservation of its heritage.
As every year, Autoclásica presents outstanding exhibitions that renew the proposal and allow to know in depth special themes. In this edition, Autoclásica will celebrate 100 years of Citroën, where the brand next to the Club of classics Citroën Buenos Aires will highlight its history in a stand of 900 m2, with more than 20 cars on stage so that all visitors can enjoy . There you can see from a 2 CV of 1961, through an Ami 8 and a Dyane 6, to an SM among many others, in addition Citroën takes the opportunity to exhibit his special series "Origins", a transversal edition of his successful C3, SUV C4 Cactus and C4 Lounge that pay homage to 100 years of creativity and boldness.

On the occasion of its centenary, the CAC pays tribute to the British brand Bentley in this century of great history with an exhibition of several exponents that range from 1924 to 1972. The combination of luxury, exclusivity and performance that models have Bentley have allowed the brand to consolidate over the decades as one of the reference companies in the super luxury niche. Among the models that will be on display are a Bentley 4 1/4 Liter Sedanca Coupe by Gurney Nutting of 1937, which won the “Best of Show” at Autoclásica 2005; and a 1972 Bentley T1, a car that belonged to Argentine tennis player Guillermo Vilas, who will be at the Stand Fond de Cave.
For its part, 100 years of the Italian design house Zagato will be celebrated, which pays tribute to that aeronautical expert Ugo Zagato, who applied the methods of construction of aluminum frames used in aircraft in the manufacture of cars, which it made the vehicles lighter and stiffer.
These requirements have led many brands worldwide have achieved models of vehicles that have been marked as legends in the automotive industry. In Autoclásica 2019 cars will be presented that have marked a great era in the century of history of Zagato.
In turn, in the "Plaza Argentina", sponsored by the Province Bank, 50 years of the launch of the Chevy model in Argentina, one of the Chevrolet classics, which took place between 1969 and 1978 will be celebrated. This car is a derivative of the North American Chevrolet Nova third generation model. It was the most popular model among the enthusiasts of the brand, because it turned out to be the most winning car of General Motors in its incursion in Road Tourism. Even to this day, it continues to participate in this category as well as in zonal categories and continues to be the object of veneration of its followers, who usually join and organize fan clubs of this or another model of the brand.
With its tiresome ride, but as splendid as the others, a selection of incredible veteran cars (over 100 years old) of various brands, will display in Autoclásica its elegance and its presence to show the germ that gave rise to the automotive industry. The proposal is completed with an original display of trucks and pickups; as well as in 2019 different means of historical transport will be present, which toured the streets of Buenos Aires and routes of the country, which are a pole of attraction for visitors.
Sports car racing will always bring emotion and adrenaline to the Autoclásica party. There will be the “Racing 50” tent where you can see on show cars of the competition type or simile of the 50s, which will display its impressive presence cars of historical brands such as Maserati, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, Osca and Pegaso; of which many of these specimens participated in repeated careers in Argentina.

In addition, another “Supercars or Super cars” tent will be added, which are basically modern vehicles that, although not 30 years old since they left the factory, can be considered future classics or as currently defined as “Super cars”. In this tent you can see models of brands such as Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Aston Martin, among others.
As for the “Barrio de las Motos”, this space continues to show its high level of exposure every year, which will concentrate more than 300 incredible copies of all time; There will also be music, live shows, club stands and new gastronomy spaces to live in first person the lifestyle of two-wheel fans. This year the CAC will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the debut of the Honda CB750 Four, the first four-cylinder motorcycle, 750cc and 67hp at 8,000rpm of the Japanese brand manufactured in 1969 and one of the most mythical models, not only of Honda, but from the motorcycle's own history. On this occasion, a copy of 1969 will be exposed precisely. In addition, visitors will appreciate the development of international and national history in sports and related to the user of the Honda CB750 Four, with the presence of machines of different evolutions of the model. It will also have a sample of advertising posters and several prints in that space and a complementary start-up to the binding talk, given by Informoto journalist, Marcelo Otonello; and by Ing. Fernando Carbajales, member of A.A.M.A.C. (Argentine Association of Old and Classic Motorcycles).






Barrio de las motoS
As every year almost 60 clubs and entities representing cars and classic front-line motorcycles from all over the country and South America will be present in the exhibition. All this will be accompanied by an excellent gastronomic proposal to enjoy the family outing, spaces dedicated to the recreation of the whole family and commercial stands of various companies.
Regarding this new edition, the current president of the CAC, Ing. Ricardo Battisti emphasized that “we hope to continue raising the AutoClasica standard so that everyone continues to recognize us as the largest exhibition of classic cars in South America and one of the best in the world , for which the call and election of the vehicles that aspire to participate have had to pass through stricter filters this year ”. In turn, Mr. Battisti added that "there will be surprises, news and attractions with which we hope to further improve this important event, surpassing ourselves."
Another novelty of AutoClásica 2019 is the “Classic Market”, a space where those who wish can buy their first classic and start collecting. During the 4 days of the sample the interested parties will be able to contact the owners directly, since each vehicle will have a sign with the owner's data.
