Expected by a small rise in sales the CA.FA.M. Put all the chips to the Plans Now 12 and 18 and extend it all August!

According to data released by the Chamber of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (CA.FA.M.), sales last July increased by 197,234 units compared to the previous month. This was due to the return of Plans Now 12 and 18, which was agreed between CA.FA.M. and the Ministry of Production and Labor of the Nation. These encouraging results make these plans extend throughout the month of August.

Regarding this, the President of CA.FA.M. Lino Stefanuto said:

“We are very happy with the response of the users that we are having to the Now 12 and 18 Plan. Sales and consultations have increased in the concessionaires that is why we will extend the benefits to continue supporting consumption and promoting sales in the sector, trusting that the right path is permanent dialogue, commitment and consensus among all the actors involved and Government ”.

But how good are these new?

If we compare it with the same month of 2018, sales are 46.47% below, representing a year-on-year decrease of 22.84%.

In addition, as we have said in countless opportunities, it does not reach only with interest-free installments, which have a cap of up to $ 120,000, or a short 10% discount on cash purchases on models up to $ 300,000. We must take into account the entire context, a context in which today shows a Zanella hanged by debts and the bad economic situation in which the country is.

This company founded in 1948 has just closed two factories, one located in the city of Cruz del Eje, in Córdoba and the other in the city of Mar del Plata, and firing 45 employees of the San Luis factory, leaving more of 100 workers in the street and without any income, which little helps a couple of installments without interest.

In all cases, Walter Steiner, president of Zanella, is offering the remaining workers a voluntary retirement, whose compensation seems to have added the Now 12 Plan, as it would be paid in installments, and obviously without interest. We must also remember that many workers today only pay 70% of their total salary.
