The year ends and sales continue to fall
05/12/2019
We are finishing the last year of the macro government and this November leaves us a motor vehicle industry with more factories closed, more workers laid off without compensation and with a new drop in sales.

According to data released by CAFAM, the camera that brings together the main motor vehicle terminals in the country, in November 18,812 units were patented. That is to say that 3,995 motorcycles were sold less than in October, which represents a drop of 21.5% compared to that month. So far this painful year, 310,059 motorcycles were sold, 44.26% less than in the same period of 2018.
Like the drop in sales, the best sellers remain low displacement. As the 110 cc that barely reached 7,501 units, followed by 150 cc motorcycles with 3,639, almost 800 units less than last month. As for the categories, the CUB leads the ranking with 9,112 units, followed by the Street with 5,157.
Despite the support that most of the companies that make up the Chamber of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers gave to the current government and the failed attempt to replenish the Now 12 and Now 18 plans, CAFAM President Lino Stefanuto declared "we trust the sector's potential and we hope to work together with the New Government to generate tools and incentives that will bring us back to reach 800,000 units annually. " apparently the numbers show him the reality that the mainstream media did not let him see.
Despite some differences we usually have with the Chamber, from Motonautas we also share the hope that things will go better with the brand new incoming government, both for the motorcycle industry and for the rest of the industries that make up our country.
