With champion DNA!

Last April we told you that TVS Motor Company brought the RTR 200 4V to Argentina (read note) and now, the third largest manufacturer of motorcycles in India, we are surprised by putting at our disposal the brand new RTR 160 4V.
This single-cylinder 159.7cc motor, with 4 valves, cooled by air and oil (O3C technology), powered by carburettor and with a five-speed transmission, was imported to our country by its official representative: Beta Motor Argentina, who is in charge of the assembly and distribution of all your motorcycles.

The RTR 160 4V is inspired by the homonymous prototype that won, for six consecutive years, the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship.
Thanks to this experience gained in the tracks TVS Motor was able to create a new tubular steel chassis with split double cribs (Split Synchro STIFF), which uses the motor as a self-supporting element; which allows you to increase stability by 25%.

The O3C technology that we mentioned above, whose initials mean
Oil- Cooled Combustion Chamber, consists of using the engine oil as a coolant, reducing its temperature by 10 ° C, which allows a better and faster acceleration and without compromising its durability. In addition, the lightweight Nano friKS piston delivers more starting power with a better competitive linear delay response and longer engine life.

At the front is a telescopic fork with a 90 / 90-17 tire without a camera, with a 270mm disc brake. While on the back it carries a 130 / 70-17 tire obviously also without a camera, with a Showa monoshock damping system, with hardness and rebound regulation, and a 200mm brake disc, which like the front has A Roto-petal design specially designed to enhance the arrest and quickly dissipate the heat.

Honoring its origins the RTR 160 4V exhibits racing graphics combined with a 100% digital central display, LED lights, and a lighthouse, defined by the Indian builders themselves as hyper-aggressive.

The RTR 160 4V is the younger sister of RTR 400 4V who came to our country to compete directly with the Bajaj Rouser NS 160, the Yamaha FZ16 and Hero Hunk 200R (read the note).
You can get in red, black and blue about $ 79,900 at the time of writing this note.
